It has been an amazing journey with our boy "Sage" in 2007, in which he accomplish being named TSSR's Grand Victor and the ISSDC's #1 National Select. He now has multiple BEST IN SHOWS. But the story doesn't end there as Sage and a very sweet and loving girl from Bearpaw Shilohs, Betterways Misty Memory o'Zion "Misty" produced 7 outstanding puppies on St. Patty's Day, March 17th, 2008.
Misty's human mom, Nancy, was so gracious and let me be present at the delivery of these pups. I was given the honor of being their official weekly photographer and was able to visit as much as I wanted. It was a special experience with this being Sage's first litter of puppies.
Yet again, Murray and I said we would not keep a pup but somehow little Green boy joined our family after the LER (litter evaluation) on May 10, 2008. It was so hard to pick a pup from this Misty/Sage litter as they were and are such sweet, loving, outgoing, confident beautiful puppies. I might be a tad bit prejudiced but many many people and breeders agree with me.
Sage, and his mom, Zoey, have brought me to happy tears watching them interact with Finnegan. It's a beautiful sight to watch them play, wrestle, and kiss him. People have asked me if they know they are related and I initially said no, but I've definitely changed my opinion on that. It seems so obviously they recognize Finn as theirs. Sage is watchful of his son, gentle with him, caring and loving and lets him do almost anything to him. Yet another beautiful facet of Sage that I'm watching unfold. I truly hope that Finn will grow up to be as amazing and special as our boy, Sage. Having two parents who are so loving and sweet, I don't think Finn can miss. And, as Murray is always saying, this litter will be incredibly intelligent. It's apparent already.

Finn won "BEST 3-6 MONTH PUPPY" in the TSSR Shiloh Shepherd Specialty show June 28-29, 2008 at the RARITIES Dog Show in Bear, Delaware. At only 14.5 weeks, Finn did me proud in the ring. He's more interested in eating then stacking but he surely can move beautifully. It was an extra special show because his brother, Cooper, and his sister, Darcy were showing also. WAY TO GO, FINNEGAN!!!!!

Ellen & Finn (9 weeks old) at the Rarities Dog Show
Finnegan's dog show career started sooner then expected at the Brookville, Pennsylvania Rarities Dog Show, May 24-25, 2008. At only 9 weeks of age, Finn's Grandmother Nancy asked that we put him in the Baby Puppy Category. Finn competed against two 10 week old puppies and WON!!!! He was the Best Baby Puppy in the ISSDC Specialty Show. What fun!!! In the Rarities Shiloh Shepherd Specialty Show on Sunday, Finn had to compete against two pups that were just under 16 week old. While he didn't win that show, the judge came over to me and said that Finn was going to be an awesome Shiloh when he grows up. He was very impressed with our little boy and how great he looks at such a young age.
We do not take winning at 9 weeks old seriously, but it's so nice that Finn did well in the ring and so many people thought him so handsome. Of course, Murray and I think he's wonderful no matter what he does!!!! This young man didn't have one potty accident in the hotel room or in his ex-pen throughout the whole weekend. Now that's amazing!!!!
